Jose Soares – Director

Hi, my name is Jose Soares, a.k.a. Jr Gringo, and I am the director of Gringo Pictures.As a child, I discovered my passion for the arts through music, however, once I experimented with filmmaking, I knew I had found my true calling in life.

As a result, at the age of eighteen, I decided to attend film production college and was lucky enough to snag a six-month internship at a major film production company that completely changed the course of my life. Upon completing the internship, I was offered the opportunity to work full-time for the company which I of course, gladly accepted.

While working there, I worked as a producer on big-budget commercials for a variety of brands, gained invaluable onset film-making experience, and won three best producer awards in Brazil. After working there for five years, my purpose was clear.

Indeed, it was then that I decided to move to Ireland to pursue a degree in film production. After graduating, I went on to work at one of the best post-production facilities in the country where I was given the privilege of working on many major TV shows, including Game of Thrones.

Soon I began to notice how the way in which people consumed video was changing and I decided to set up Gringo Pictures in response. Not only would Gringo Pictures allow me to combine my various videography skills including producing, directing, filming and editing but it would allow my clients to receive high-quality videography and photography packages, all under one roof.

Gringo Pictures has since gone from strength to strength and I am now delighted to work with a team of expert videographers and photographers, who are all highly specialised in their individual fields.

Luciano Marcão – Post Production

Hi, I’m Luciano. I am a senior Motion Graphics Designer, Editor, and VFX Artist with over ten years of experience working for a variety of major production companies worldwide.

 Here at Gringo Pictures, I am the post-production wizard and have been lucky enough to be in charge of our in-house post-production for the past few years. I enjoy contributing my vast amount of post-production experience to the role, as well as my passion for the visual arts.

 My renowned minimalist style is directly inspired by my love for the visual arts, and although I am fluent in several languages, it is the language of the visual arts that drives me to create. I am also strongly influenced by the sights and sounds of my native homeland of Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil.

Ana Moretti – Photographer/Producer

Hi, I’m Ana Eliza Moretti, Gringo Picture’s in-house photographer and producer. I help to define the requirements for each project, while also ensuring the process is organised and streamlined so our client’s experience is seamless.

Although I have always been interested in the arts, my passion for photography truly began after I became pregnant with my first child. During this time, I was able to reconnect with my creative side and hone my photography skills.

I love to compose beautiful images. Regardless of the subject matter, whether it is a new-born baby, delicious meal or product video, I become obsessed with the process of creating and relishing the satisfaction of finding the perfect composition, lighting and setting.

I love capturing moments of love and happiness and creating beautiful memories. Although originally from Brazil, I have travelled the world and moved to Dublin to explore Ireland’s wonderful heritage and culture.
